Development tools

HJS employs the very latest methods and technologies in its Research & Development department and works hand in hand with research institutions at relevant technical universities and universities of applied sciences.

Consequently, every diesel particulate system developed is examined on a

• flow bench

with respect to its flow characteristics. Additional durability tests are carried out with either temperature or exhaust-gas exposure on a

• hydropulser (also with hot gas).

Test bench analyses are carried out on a range of

• engine test benches for commercial vehicles and mobile machines and on
• roller dynamometers for passenger cars.

Moreover, the latest

• CAD and CAM

tools are also used in order to progress quickly from the development stage through

• prototyping,
• design

and investigations on the test benches and other examinations and field tests to arrive at finished products ready for series production.
