Decisive factors
The use of high-alloy corrosion-resistant metal powders bonded to supports of the same material which guarantees the long life expectancy of the filter material.. The sintered metal technology allows a defined pore size to be set at high porosity. Superior particulate trapping efficiency of more than 95% at low pressure loss as well as a great range of possibilities for shaping the filter medium are a result of our development work. Improved heat conduction and metallic elasticity prevent damage to the filter caused by thermal regeneration and permit high deposits of soot at minimized pressure loss.

The self-supporting structure design of the Jetfilter® makes it possible to use the system without the need for additional mounting systems. This allows efficient use of package space, simplifies the installation process, and ultimately reduces costs. It also rules out the possibility of harmful fibres being emitted from the ceramic mounting mat. High flexibility in material shaping allows the design of a filter system that provides optimum storage of ash from the engine and additives. It is also possible to adapt the oncoming feed flow resistances to corresponding conditions in the exhaust system.

Shallow feed-air flow angles and large feed surfaces towards the engine reduce back pressure to a technically possible minimum. Removing non-combustible residue from the filter is very easy. Cleaning is only usually necessary after an extremely long operating period.
