At the Fisita World Automotive Congress in India, the sintered metal filters in particular attracted a great deal of interest.   <\/em><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Medium-sized company presents exhaust technology at congress in Chennai, East India<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>International meeting of OEM original equipment manufacturers and developers<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Special demand &#8211; the HJS sintered metal filter (SMF<\/strong><strong><sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong><strong>)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Technology meets the requirements of India&#8217;s strict Bharat Level VI<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The global automotive industry is talking about one topic: clean drives. This key topic also played a central role at the Fisita World Automotive Congress in Chennai in eastern India at the beginning of October (2.10 to 5.10.2018). HJS was not to be missed at the largest international gathering of OEM original equipment manufacturers, developers and suppliers. The medium-sized company from South Westphalia presented exhaust aftertreatment concepts at an accompanying trade exhibition at the stand of development service provider FEV.   <\/p>\n\n<p>HJS delivers innovation across the board, the OEM original equipment manufacturer develops customized solutions for the upcoming Bharat Stage VI legislation. From small three-wheelers to large commercial vehicles. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Sintered metal filter: Higher mileage than a conventional ceramic filter<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The HJS sintered metal filter (<sup>SMF\u00ae<\/sup>) attracted particular interest at the trade fair in India. Its use means that the cleaning intervals are three to four times longer than with a ceramic filter. It therefore achieves a significantly higher mileage than other technologies. The sintered metal filter, for which HJS was awarded the German Environmental Prize, and the systems based on it are particularly reliable, low-maintenance and have a long service life. This is made possible by the use of high-alloy, corrosion-resistant metals.    <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Indian Bharat Level VI: Strict requirements are met<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Furthermore, cleaning does not incur any additional costs because the operator can do this himself. This in turn leads to a lower risk of downtime. Overall, the <sup>SMF\u00ae <\/sup>is therefore better suited for original equipment and retrofitting of diesel vehicles than a conventional ceramic filter &#8211; not only in Europe, but also in India, where the strict EU stages are implemented as so-called Bharat stages. The sintered metal filters from HJS meet the stricter exhaust emission requirements of Bharat Stage VI.   <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>India &#8211; a country focusing on affordable, sustainable mobility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>The Fisita World Automotive Congress took place for the 37th time this year. The congress is a platform where young experts, engineers, researchers and managers exchange ideas and develop concepts for the future of the automotive industry.
