With an extensive network of specialized sales companies and distributors on all continents, CompAir offers global expertise combined with comprehensive local service.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n<p><em>The result is a self-sufficient upgrade that is particularly suitable for special machines. Which makes machines fit for the Stage V emissions standard.   <\/em><em> <\/em><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Because emission requirements are growing, technical solutions are needed<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>HJS technology: over 90 percent less nitrogen oxides<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Autonomous upgrade of a mobile compressor with SCRT<\/strong><sup>\u00ae<\/sup><strong>-technology<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Machine achieves Stage IV emission standard thanks to the equipment<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Construction machinery with modern exhaust emission standards is not only good for the environment, but also increases the chances of winning contracts. In fact, the emission limits for mobile machinery have been tightened considerably in recent years. These strict standards even apply to special machines that are only manufactured in small quantities. However, a new engine is not always necessary to meet future emission requirements. Because that would be far too expensive from an economic point of view.    <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fit for the future<\/h3>\n\n<p>The South Westphalian specialist for exhaust technology components has equipped the TurboScrew mobile compressor with a self-sufficient <sup>SCRT\u00ae<\/sup> system for CompAir. This upgrade enables the Stage IV emissions standard to be achieved. And by integrating the award-winning diesel particulate filter made of sintered metal (<sup>SMF\u00ae<\/sup>), the engine is ideally prepared for the next Stage V.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Self-sufficient <sup>SCRT\u00ae<\/sup> system from HJS as the perfect solution<\/h3>\n\n<p>The development of the upgrade for CompAir reads like a success story: The initial situation: CompAir does not manufacture the engines for the work machines itself. However, the units used with special adaptations (TurboScrew) had proven themselves in use. However, they were not available in the required emission standard. However, there were to be no modifications to the engine. Retrofitting with the <sup>SCRT\u00ae<\/sup> system proved to be the perfect solution. And so HJS was able to score points with 25 years of experience in diesel exhaust gas treatment and in the acceptance and approval of exhaust systems as original equipment.     <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exhaust gas aftertreatment from HJS makes the difference<\/h3>\n\n<p>The modular <sup>SCRT\u00ae<\/sup> system (Selective Catalytic Reduction Technology) developed by HJS removes not only soot particles but also gaseous nitrogen oxide pollutants (NOx) almost completely from diesel exhaust gases. In this way, nitrogen oxide emissions from diesel engines, which are harmful to health and the environment, can be reduced by well over 90 percent. The exhaust gas aftertreatment from HJS makes a significant difference here. HJS had to react flexibly and precisely to CompAir&#8217;s order. Several challenges had to be overcome on the way to the retrofitted machine. For example, the <sup>SCRT\u00ae<\/sup> system was adapted to this CompAir application within a tight schedule.     <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Good for business: Plus points in the awarding process<\/h3>\n\n<p>Those who rely on state-of-the-art exhaust technology also have a competitive advantage in Germany. These days, it is often not just a question of installing a particulate filter, but of complying with the latest emission limits. Switzerland is a pioneer in this field, where strict laws have long been in place to reduce air pollutants.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Further advantages of HJS sintered metal technology<\/h3>\n\n<p>The use of HJS technology has resulted in further advantages. The use of the aforementioned sintered metal filter (<sup>SMF\u00ae<\/sup>) means that the cleaning intervals are three times longer than with a ceramic filter. The <sup>SMF\u00ae<\/sup>, for which HJS was awarded the German Environmental Prize, and the systems based on it are particularly reliable, low-maintenance and have a long service life. Furthermore, cleaning does not incur any additional costs because the operator can do this himself. This in turn reduces the risk of downtime.    <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">HJS: Reliable and flexible<\/h3>\n\n<p>Saving costs and protecting the environment: What sounds incompatible is actually possible.
