On 10. and June 11, 2021, the sixth Environment Week will take place in Berlin. HJS is once again taking part as an exhibitor and will be presenting climate and emission-neutral drive concepts.
More and more people are living in our country’s conurbations. This also increases the need for mobility and supply, and the economy also requires infrastructure to secure jobs. However, these needs are essentially met with the help of conventional petrol and diesel engines, which leads to sometimes massive air pollution for residents.
In future, these tasks will therefore have to be carried out with climate- and emission-neutral drives – and this will require a differentiated solution strategy against the background of specific requirement profiles such as bus and rail drives, small and distribution logistics or construction machinery.
HJS develops precisely these solutions, both in terms of original equipment and for retrofitting vehicles. Zero-emission and climate-neutral drive concepts (Zero Impact Powertrains) will be presented at this year’s Digital Environment Week. Digitally, climate-neutral drive concepts such as hydrogen-powered fuel cells, battery electric drives and the use of eFuels in emission-free combustion engines are to be compared with each other.
Environment Week 2021
The environmental fair organized by the Federal President and the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU) is taking place for the sixth time since 2002. A jury of experts selected a total of 150 innovative ideas and projects from over 440 submissions that deal with the overarching themes of environmental protection and sustainability. This year’s Environment Week will take place on 10. and June 11, 2021 in the park of Bellevue Palace as a hybrid event. The digital discussion rounds can be followed live via stream.
