The Sauerland-based filter specialist HJS presented its filter technology for industrial applications at FILTECH in Cologne from March 8 to 10. For the company, its first participation at the trade fair was a successful start to the diversification of its product line.
FILTECH in Cologne is the international exhibition and conference for filter and separation technology with up to 12,000 visitors and more than 440 exhibitors. This year, for the first time, the Menden-based company HJS was among them to present the application of its filter solutions for the industrial sector. The sintered metal filters have proven themselves for decades in the purification of engine exhaust gases and also offer a wide range of applications for various filtration tasks in industry.
“Our presence at Filtech was an important milestone on our way into the future. The discussions with interested parties have confirmed that there is great interest in sintered metal technology and that there are many possible applications for the product,” summarizes Hubertus Borgmeier, Export Manager at HJS. The main advantages of these filters are their high stability, cleaning performance and use at high temperatures. The company now intends to use the contacts it has made with interested parties and representatives from a wide range of industries to develop new areas of application for this proven technology.
