The intake manifold pressure sensor measures the absolute pressure in the intake manifold.
The intake manifold pressure, together with the engine speed and the intake air temperature, is used to calculate the intake air mass.
The boost pressure sensor measures the absolute pressure downstream of the turbocharger. It is used to calculate a correction value for the boost pressure. A temperature sensor can also be integrated as an option, recognizable by the 4-pin instead of 3-pin connector.
