Using the ACU diagnostic software, users can access the HJS ACU to read out system-relevant data such as actual values and stored fault codes. The software can be operated on a standard commercial laptop. To use the ACU diagnostic software, a dedicated hardware interface is required; this interface also enables licensing of the software for the laptop in use. To purchase this hardware interface, please contact your responsible sales partner.
Installation note for the ACU diagnostic software: When using Windows 10 (version 1908 or later), the separate driver “Sentinel LDK Run-time” must be installed before installing the ACU diagnostic software.
If this driver was not updated in advance, or if any technical issues occur while using the software, please completely uninstall the ACU diagnostic software (TDX Workshop) and manually delete any remaining TDX files.
Afterwards, download and install the required drivers on your system. Restart your computer, then run the ACU diagnostic software installation again.
Installing the plug-in for the SCR pump requires an existing installation of the ACU diagnostic software and a suitable diagnostic cable to establish communication with the SCR pump. Using this software, the SCR pump’s system status can be read out in detail. In addition, a wide range of functions is available, including a flushing function.
The plug-in can be used to access the SCR pump in the following systems:
Using a standard commercial laptop and a diagnostic cable, the diagnostic software communicates with the HJS ECU of the filter system. Data can be read out and service actions can be performed. To enable the full functionality of the ECU diagnostic software, registration is required before first use. Registration is carried out via a password, which must be requested from your sales partner.
Please note the following when updating an existing diagnostic software version: After installing the new diagnostic software version, your personal registration key must be entered again.
Your personal registration key remains valid and can continue to be used—no new request is required. If you have not already saved the registration key, please back up your license key before installing the new diagnostic software version. You can find the registration key in diagnostic software version 2.x under the “Settings” menu.
The HJS Emission Monitoring System is a complete, self-contained solution for monitoring the status of diesel particulate filters. Its operation is based on continuous measurement, display, and logging of exhaust gas temperature, back pressure, and engine speed (RPM).
This diagnostic software is used for initial commissioning and system diagnostics. During initial commissioning, the date and time are set, the parameters stored in the control unit are adjusted if required, and the system is checked to ensure proper operation. In the event of a fault, or when performing routine maintenance, the software provides the following functions for analysis:

Display of the alarm memory
The diagnostic software can be operated on any standard commercial laptop. To connect the laptop to the EMS control unit, an EMS diagnostic cable and a PEAK PCAN-USB adapter (IPEH-002021) are required.
